Abstract
|

|
|
|
This study was carried out to investigate the opinions and records of nursing students in the first clinical practice.
The purpose of this study was to acquire reference data for effective clinical practice.
The period of this study was from July 18 to August 25, 2000.
The subjects of this study were 29 head nurses of Kyeongsang National University hospital and 142 second-year students of Chinju Health College in Chinju city.
The data of this study were collected by a self-reported questionnaire composed of 5 point rating scale questions.
Data were analyzed by spsswin program(version8.0), using mean, standard deviation, and t-test.
The results were summarized as follows:
1. Opinion about the importance of clinical practice
There was significant difference before and after clinical practice.
2. Opinion about the expectation of clinical practice
There was significant difference before and after clinical practice.
3. Opinion about the self-confidence of clinical practice
There was significant difference before and after clinical practice.
4. Clinical practice records
There was no significant difference between the records and the importance, the expectation, the self-confidence of clinical practice.
